Mr Chow

Rientro a New York, dopo uno strano pomeriggio passato a Jersey City.

English

I came back to New York, after a strange afternoon in Jersey City.
I arrived in Christopher Street, but the atmosphere in the Village is not that good.
So, walking along Greenwich Street, I ended up in Tribeca.

It’s late and I’m starving.
I check a couple of places and I find this modern and classy Chinese restaurant: Mr Chow.

I think that, dressed as I am, they won’t let me in, but New York is a surprising city.
A very elegant waiter, takes me to a table on the veranda.
The evening is warm but breezy.

The food is beyond my wildest expectations. Scallop in slightly spicy sauce, steamed stuffed sole dumplings and a fabulous plate of shrimp with vegetables, served with plain rice.
The peaceful Tribeca’s night was a perfect companion to me.

  2. Evvai… altro che Mc Donalds! Foto per me? Come eri conciato?

Sgualcito e stravolto come pochi.

    Buona sera Photogeisha!

    mmm…looks so good these dishes.
Especially the second one steamed GYOZA.
I checked their web site too because wanna see the interior of the restaurant. And you said you thought they may not allow your dress.
Ma sei bello photografio, tutti ristoranti a NY dicono “Benvenuto” come tutti in Giappone!

Anyway I wonder if I go NY or Sicily later of this summer.

    ANO…I’m not a secret agent.
You know, I don’t know well about what I’m not interested in, example…Japanese team of world cup they got big win after Italian team left from stadium while crying…

Anyway I like the chef served a dish with flower on simple white plate.
