Si terr\u00e0 dal prossimo 24 marzo fino al 5 maggio 2024 presso la Galleria Kayros Contemporary Art in Roma, la personale fotografica di Umberto Stefanelli dal titolo \u201cLa Bellezza \u00e8 donna \u2013 Come l\u2019eleganza che guida la mia mano.\u201d
\nQuaranta immagini fotografiche per celebrare \u201cLa Bellezza\u201d, una Musa irresistibile che ha cos\u00ec tante volte ammaliato e sopraffatto artisti d\u2019ogni genere.
\nUna presenza costante che si \u00e8 impossessata del loro immaginario, accompagnando prepotentemente una moltitudine di forme espressive lungo un cammino che si perde ormai nella notte dei tempi.<\/p>\n

E\u2019 la bellezza sorpresa quella ritratta da Umberto Stefanelli a spasso per il mondo; immortalata all\u2019improvviso tra suggestioni giallo-arancio, cieli artificiali, trasparenze incerte di plastica e cristallo. La bellezza raccolta l\u00e0 dove non te l\u2019aspetti, l\u00e0 dove fretta, noncuranza, distrazione, incomprensioni, privacy e divieti impongono ingiustamente un prezzo da pagare.<\/p>\n

La bellezza austera, lineare, pulita. La bellezza di porcellana da Novella Madonna Rinascimentale dagli occhi a mandorla.
\nLa bellezza celebrata senza pausa o ristoro, tra ispirazioni salate, nostalgie lontane, malinconie taglienti. Tra sorrisi appena accennati, risate piene e follie da regalare al cassetto dei ricordi per i quali \u00e8 stato un piacere passeggiare a piedi nudi sulla vita.<\/p>\n

Quella bellezza che si specchia inevitabilmente nella passione. Una passione costantemente coniugata al femminile, ma esposta in una mostra che non vuol essere un omaggio alla donna in quanto tale. E\u2019 piuttosto un modo raffinato d\u2019osservare e disegnare con la luce.
\nUna fotografia Donna, di sentimenti, bellezza ed eleganza. Pensieri sottili, nuance delicate, sentieri di tulle, forme di velluto e tinte pastello.<\/p>\n

Un omaggio ancestrale al femminino sacro, come origine fertile ed imperitura di tutto ci\u00f2 che siamo o perlomeno dovremmo disperatamente essere.<\/p>\n

All\u2019interno della mostra \u00e8 previsto un incontro con l\u2019autore (che si terr\u00e0 il 6 aprile alle ore 18.00 e verr\u00e0 ripetuto il 12 ed il 19 aprile alla stessa ora) su Fine art e percezione visiva \u2013 Nascita di un progetto espositivo \u2013 Lo smartphone come strumento fotografico.<\/p>\n

Umberto Stefanelli nasce artisticamente a New York, dove grazie all\u2019incomparabile piacere di osare, tipico della cultura artistica americana, ha iniziato ad esprimere la sua creativit\u00e0, perfezionando il suo modo di fotografare e rielaborare le immagini con tecnica innovativa.<\/p>\n

Dopo l\u2019America, la rivelazione laica sulla via del Giappone.
\nE\u2019 qui che la sua fotografia si fa adulta, legandosi intimamente alla complicatissima arte del sottrarre. \u201cLess is more\u201d, un principio che, mai come adesso, andrebbe riscoperto e coltivato.<\/p>\n

Numerose le collaborazioni, con istituzioni e societ\u00e0 pubbliche e private, tra cui il Politecnico di Milano, lo IED di Roma, il MiMa di Verona, Orvieto Fotografia, Polaroid, Levi\u2019s Strauss, L\u2019Oreal, Nokia, Epson, Grey Group, Young & Rubicam, Zoom Magazine, Nippon Television.<\/p>\n

Sue opere sono conservate nel Polaroid International Museum U.S.A., nel Museo Nazionale della Fotografia di Brescia, nella Galleria Civica di Modena, nel CIFA – Centro Italiano della Fotografia d\u2019Autore, nel Museo della Fotografia di Lishui \u2013 Cina, nello Shanghai Duolun Museum Of Modern Art ed in altre collezioni nazionali ed internazionali.<\/p>\n

Da giugno 2009 ha iniziato, su umbertostefanelli.com, un progetto di narrazione tra immagini e parole (fotografia e poesia al servizio del furore creativo) che \u00e8 tuttora in corso.<\/p>\n

Umberto Stefanelli’s photographic solo exhibition entitled “Beauty is a woman – Like the elegance that leads my hand” will be held from March 24 until May 5, 2024 at Kayros Contemporary Art Gallery in Rome.<\/span>
\nForty images to celebrate “Beauty”, an irresistible Muse that has bewitched and overwhelmed artists of all kinds on countless occasions.<\/span>
\nA constant presence that has seized their imagery, powerfully accompanying a multitude of expressive forms along a path that is now lost in the mists of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is surprise beauty that is portrayed by Umberto Stefanelli around the world; unexpectedly captured among yellow-orange suggestions, artificial skies, uncertain transparencies of both plastic and crystal. Beauty harvested where you do not expect it, where haste, carelessness, distraction, misunderstanding, privacy and prohibitions unfairly impose a price to pay.<\/span><\/p>\n

The austere, plain, clean beauty. The porcelain beauty of the almond-eyed Renaissance Novella Madonna.<\/span>
\nBeauty celebrated without a pause or refreshment, amid salty inspirations, distant longings, sharp melancholies. Between barely hinted smiles, full laughter and follies to be bestowed to the drawer of memories for which it was a pleasure to walk barefoot on life.<\/span><\/p>\n

That beauty that is inevitably mirrored in passion. A passion constantly conjugated with the feminine, but this exhibition is not meant to be a tribute to woman as such. It is rather a refined way of observing and drawing with light.<\/span>
\nA Woman photography, of feelings, beauty and elegance. Subtle thoughts, delicate nuances, paths of tulle, velvet shapes and pastel hues.<\/span>
\nAn ancestral homage to the sacred feminine, as the fertile and imperishable origin of all that we are or at least we desperately should be.<\/span>
\nWithin the exhibition there will be a talk with the author (to be held on April 6 at 6 p.m. to be repeated on April 12 and April 19 at the same time) on Fine art and visual perception – Birth of an exhibition project – The smartphone as a photographic tool.<\/span><\/p>\n

Umberto Stefanelli was artistically born in New York, where thanks to the incomparable pleasure of daring, typical of American artistic culture, he began to express his creativity, perfecting his photography and image reworking with innovative technique.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the U.S., the secular revelation on the way to Japan.<\/span>
\nIt is here that his photography becomes mature, intimately bonding with the very complicated art of subtraction. “Less is more,” a principle that, as never before, should be rediscovered and cultivated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Numerous partnerships, with both public and private institutions and companies, including Politecnico di Milano, IED Rome, MiMa Verona, Orvieto Fotografia, Polaroid, Levi’s Strauss, L’Oreal, Nokia, Epson, Grey Group, Young & Rubicam, Zoom Magazine, Nippon Television.<\/span><\/p>\n

His artworks are exhibited in the Polaroid International Museum U.S.A., the National Museum of Photography in Brescia, the Galleria Civica in Modena, CIFA – Italian Center for Fine Art Photography, the Lishui Museum of Photography – China, the Shanghai Duolun Museum Of Modern Art and other national and international collections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since June 2009, he started at umbertostefanelli.com, a storytelling project combining images and words (photography and poetry at the service of creative fury) that is still ongoing.<\/span><\/p>\n
