First Polaroid, now Hipstamatic, force me to face once again the problem of the medium. From June 18th I get comments and emails on my new photographic experimentation. Those who know me, even only through the pages of this blog, can guess what I think. Photography is a language, the ability to arouse emotions. And that’s an ABSOLUTE DOGMA to me.<\/span><\/p>\n I could do a rash but fascinating parallel with the world of wine. Very small winemakers that produce superb wines in the garage. Let’s make a toast to Jean-Luc Thunevin, one of the involuntary inspirers of this movement and to his Bad Boy. \nThe medium is only a tool that we use to achieve a purpose and it should never be identified in the purpose itself.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nThat movement of thought and action represented, at least in its initial phase, from the garagistes of Bordeaux.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nHere too the secret is not the medium, but the perfect knowledge of the process and especially the obsessive attention to detail.<\/span><\/p>\n
