Una verità imbarazzante – A very real truth

ENGLISH

The more I look around the more I appreciate the pearls of wisdom of my cousin Marisa. What a woman!

Her theory about life, that hits you right there where you insist, is a very real truth.

Su un orizzonte ambiguo e misterioso – Over a mysterious and ambiguous horizon

ENGLISH

Another slow week in a classic August style.
This rainy Sunday refreshes, heralding the end of the summer.

Fish under salt, Fine Art prints and night thoughts.
Melancholy with sea fragrance over a mysterious and ambiguous horizon.

ENGLISH

We live too often trapped in narrow spaces.

A time to kill with escapes in the reflections and uncertain steps.

A train of dark light from which get off as soon as possible.

Troppe cazzo di regole! – Too many fucking rules!

Troppe cazzo di regole!

Davvero troppe.

ENGLISH

Too many fucking rules!

Really too many. Most of them useless or meaningless.

An increasing aversion for photography. Prohibitions on prohibitions, without logic or a minimum of explanation.

For those, like me, that has always been intolerant of stupid rules, is really unbearable.

For few shots stolen with my cell phone at the Picasso Museum in Malaga, I was almost “arrested by the Spanish Inquisition”.
And without taking pictures of the Artist paintings!

Some security officers – playing the secret agents – shouted and threatened me like if I was the new Osama Bin Laden.

To get them stop I had to shout over them.
All this could have been avoided with a sign placed at the entrance and a bit of good education.

Passi color crema – Creamy steps

E’ tempo di danza, di passi color crema, di foto soffici.

Fiori appena accennati, sfumature dolci, direzioni da immaginare.

Farfalle pazze di vento e lontananza.

ENGLISH

It’s time to dance. Creamy steps and soft photos.

Abstract flowers, sweet nuances, directions to imagine.

Butterflies crazy of wind and distance.

Al Pont de Ferr

Matias Perdomo l’equilibrista.

Essenze rosse, polvere nera, gamberi e Bloody Mary.

ENGLISH

Matias Perdomo the acrobat.
He walks with surprising grace on the cliff edge of flavor.
Culinary pearls and sins of youth.

Champagne Rosé Collard-Chardelle suggested by the owner Maida Mercuri and the show begins.

The menu “Craziness” fits me like a glove.
Ingredients without limits that are transformed into subtle emotions.

Red essences, black powder, shrimps and Bloody Mary.
Marine depths, circus legends, seasons of blown sugar.

Cold sand on heart of warm durum wheat. Red pepper ketchup, umeboshi and exotic petals.

He – with the keen eye of the artist in a state of grace – obsessively observes the restaurant room from the kitchen window, arousing the curiosity of my son Santiago.

An apparent shyness daughter of good doubts.
Beginning and end of an aimless journey. Just for the incomparable pleasure of travelling.
