Nient’altro che luce, amore e ispirazione selvaggia – Nothing but light, love, and a wild, untamed inspiration.

ENGLISH

Chopin through Moravec’s piano, a poetic caress in sound. A subtle play of memory, raindrops on velvet cushions. An unbroken flow of absence and confession.

And within that fragile, sounding matter my illness became vertigo, crossed every human boundary, every attempt at human understanding.
A fever that steals breath from breath, that consumes and, at once, reveals.

My reason cracks, bends, kneels, and finally surrenders.
There is no longer form nor thought: only light.
Nothing but light, love, and a wild, untamed inspiration.

ENGLISH

A bewitched place, spread across a fervid imagination of colour and velvet.
Immaterial landscapes of extreme altitude, tropics and archaeology.
A thought suspended among thoughts still in swaddling clothes — that is Bolivia.

Land of fathers and sons, of words set free, of feelings laid bare and regrets at last abandoned to their fate.

Black scratching against white, crystalline water on infinite silences, deserts and mountain ranges where you feel you might reach out and touch the sky, where you might almost hear God. Where time stands still and haste becomes a thing of the imagination.

A land burnished with salt, veiled in red, pure in its splendour.
A land… Tierra de Bolivia.

Adesso o mai più — It’s now or never

ENGLISH

It’s now or never — such certainty in this impatience that won’t wait for pleasure.
This frenzy, dressed in radiant smiles, surrendering body and soul to great passions, gliding gracefully through last-time embraces, kisses, nothing but kisses, and loves neither pausing nor waiting.

A time that knows no tomorrow, fragile as color in flight.
Irrepressible rêveries on days stained red and imaginary landscapes of air, fury, and entropy.

“I’ve traveled each and every highway”

ENGLISH

Rarely do I grant myself the brazen luxury of taking stock, or linger over reflections better left in the limbo of unfinished thoughts.

This exercise – not always sterile – of sudden awareness may appear as a terminus of desires, a moment to draw the curtain on life, which instead remains a destination with blurred contours.

Yet, at times, it becomes necessary to set eyes and reason backwards, if only to fully acknowledge the multitude of steps taken, the unbroken flow of experiences and emotions crossed.

The sharply blurred memory of the countless roads travelled… always and only my way.

ENGLISH

Wishing you a stellar, lucid and glorious 2026.

Colors scattered at random beneath cotton candy skies…
beyond any map, on a path of pure perception.

Mystical thoughts, breathless sighs, chiffon caresses.
Falling stars and dancing fireflies, vineyards in bloom, rivers of ripe cherries.

Slaps of passion, gusts of tenderness, ancestral shivers, and Japanese springtimes.

… e viaggi che faremo – … and journeys yet to come

ENGLISH

How many times I’ve found you in the ethereal hand of nature, in those reassuring hues of light and amber, in the alcohol that sharpens doubts, strengthens desires, and tears down insignificant certainties.

How many times you’ve surfaced suddenly, among the words left on your lips, the abyssal depths of unsureness, the endless twists of my stubborn, reckless thoughts. Forged in painful silences and a hostile nostalgia that wraps me in sweet salt and bitter blood.

A relentless distance in which I feel you terribly close. A surreal closeness, daughter of utopia and passion, of endless waits and whitening hair, where we place hopes, fantasies and journeys yet to come.

“Hecha de luz, de sal, de piedra y pensamiento.”

Umberto Stefanelli per TheUnique Magazine
https://www.theuniquemagazine.it

A me ha confuso, come nessun luogo mai prima.

ENGLISH

“The Separate Rose”, Pablo Neruda called it, dedicating sublime verses to her.
The island wrought of light, of salt, of stone and thought.
Ancestral elements, indistinguishable, that have belonged to Rapa Nui since the dawn of time.
Five hours by aeroplane from Chile’s endless coast. Easter Island, so christened by the Dutch navigator Jacob Roggeveen, who stumbled upon it by chance on the blessed day of resurrection, 5 April 1722.
Thanks be to God—and to geography—that placed her lost among the lost; the Dutch first, and the English after, found no profit in lingering to steal her soul.
Theories as fascinating as they are bizarre vie for supremacy over this uttermost scrap of Polynesia. Without a shadow of doubt the most captivating, enigmatic and singular.

Winds and volcanoes forged her from the sea’s very nothingness; the Rapa Nui rendered her the legend that sets ablaze the hearts and fancies of every incurable, romantic traveller.
She bewildered me as no place ever had before. Her disproportionate magnificence cowed me until it stripped my eyes of every familiar bearing.
With immense effort I had to tame the obsession, the gnawing frenzy within, the boundless emotion that drove instinct to clutch vainly at reason, before I could restore her simply and poetically for what she is: the Isle “hecha de luz, de sal, de piedra y pensamiento.”
