L’impenetrabile palude della mia fantasia – The impenetrable swamp of my fantasy

ENGLISH

An hallucination which takes shape from nothingness.

The overhead locker is an artificial sky that perfectly matches to the pale and severe figure, while temptation is stronger than prohibition.

Mythological and mystical. That’s how I see her.
That’s how I confuse her, in the impenetrable swamp of my fantasy.

Mantra tibetani, stampe da mostra, terra e sassi – Tibetan Mantras, prints for a new exhibition, earth and stones

ENGLISH

Questions and doubts of a game in which appearances may be deceiving, but not that much.

Future expectations in the colored brown of these coffee beans. Tibetan Mantras, prints for a new exhibition, earth and stones.

A time of changes, which could be more important than I can ever imagine.

La malinconia in miniatura – The melancholy in miniature

ENGLISH

My friend Luca, his “places non-places” and his pensive melancholy, have inspired this image of absence and small items.

The city is among the few in which I’d love to treasure my dreams. Rare pearls by the sea.
The mirror of water cut by the concrete is worth a thousand words.

La tovaglia in Cattedrale – The tablecloth in the Cathedral

ENGLISH

The time, as you well know, is one of my most common obsessions.
Is maybe this the reason of the motion that is so often present in my images?

It is like I were afraid to stop the moment. I mean to stop it for real!
I like leaving to myself the doubt and the sense of instability that give me a way out like the tablecloth in the Cathedral.

Numeri, segni e dolorose rimembranze – Numbers, signs and painful memories

ENGLISH

9 / 11. A grim combination of numbers, signs and painful memories.

Ten years have drifted away in a shred. A shred of thoughts and solutions.

I have no more words. Not today.
The black that rallies around me chokes any form of reason and creativity.

Sosuke, Miya san, onde e pesci – Sosuke, Miya san, waves and fishes

Sosuke, Miya san, onde e pesci.

ENGLISH

A striking afternoon: green tea, Daruma and Kokeshi.
New projects and inescapable, endemic Japanese nostalgia.

The sea is a leitmotif that accompanies my 10.000 km. fantasy.
Sosuke, Miya san, waves and fishes.

Una perfetta metafora di vita – A perfect metaphor of life

ENGLISH

The stairs, a perfect metaphor of life.

A safe haven, a dangerous shelter.
The heady taste of success or the bitter cup of failure.

How much truth I see in those uncertain steps, which in one way or another we are forced to walk.

Verità crude. Verità tristi – A raw truth. A sad truth

ENGLISH

The Poet sings a raw truth: “Italy murdered by newspapers and cement”.
A sad truth: “Italy half garden and half jail.”

In a song that has traveled through time without being scratched or corrupted.
Without losing its actuality, its beauty and its sad but great poetry.

Francesco De Gregori leaves us with a bitter taste of broken hopes, but with the warning – and the wish – to resist.
