La pacifica tranquillità dell’attesa – The peaceful quietness of waiting

ENGLISH

I want to continue this journey with an unknown destination.
A train to the sea in the peaceful quietness of waiting.

A minimalist and proud Inapensiero that has already said everything there was to say.

Senza limiti né destinazione – Without limits or destination

ENGLISH

Another “piece” of station.
Someone asked me why this theme is so recurrent in recent times.

Frankly speaking I don’t know why. Perhaps there isn’t a reason.
It will be the sense of freedom given by the rails. The apparently inattentive people.

It will be the selfless pleasure that makes me enjoy the pure taste of a journey without limits or destination.

Cosa può essere la luce! – Oh, what is the light!

ENGLISH

Oh, what is the light!
It describes, carves, caresses, creating the essence of a photograph.

The Perfect Light is a fleeting illusion.
A continuous and constant flight made of uncertainty and genial intuitions.

One swallow does not make a summer?
Sometimes it does. It certainly does!

In punta di penna e in punta di Pola – On the tip of the pen, on the tip of my Polaroid

ENGLISH

I like living the images with color, nuances and abstract drawings.
I could watch them for hours without finding a key of reading.

These days I feel like the ghost of myself.
A passer-by to which everything runs out of hand.

I move, without concerns or regrets, on the tip of the pen, on the tip of my Polaroid.

Le cose che mi mancano per davvero – The things I miss the most

Una volta iniziato è difficile smettere.
Una Polaroid tira l’altra. E’ sempre stato così.

Gli amori veri non si dimenticano. MAI!

Quelle piccole, meravigliose imperfezioni.

ENGLISH

Once started it is difficult to stop.
A Polaroid leads to another one. It’s always been like that.

True love can’t be forget. NEVER!
It stays inside us and we can only listen to it.

Those small and beautiful imperfections.
Colors oscillating between being and not being.

Two lilac petals and three glasses to frame the things I miss. The ones I miss the most.

La spalla viola – The purple shoulder

ENGLISH

Hermetic images frequently cross the path of my inspiration.
I live them without thinking, in the throes of pure ecstasy.

You don’t need so many things to free your imagination.
Just a small, delightful detail, like the purple shoulder.

Annegare di piacere e di ricordi – Drowning of pleasure and memories

A volte ritornano.

Perché, come canterebbe Sergio Caputo,

ENGLISH

Sometimes they come back.
Dreams, loves, illusions.

I close my eyes and let go.
Drowning of pleasure and memories, while I wait for the night.

Because, as Sergio Caputo sings,
“In this common and Italian Saturday
The worst seems to be over.
The night is the variable that takes us away by the hand”

I won’t oppose any resistance.
