A prescindere dal caos – Regardless of chaos

Serata da favola con Alex e Claudio.

Musica, picanha, birra, antinfiammatori, libri autobiografici e ricordi londinesi in fila indiana.

ENGLISH

A fabulous evening with Alex and Claudio.

Music, picanha, beer, anti-inflammatory medication, autobiographical books and Londoners memories in single file. What a mix!

Because when you feel good, you really feel good, regardless of chaos that here is everywhere.

Lascia fare a lui – Let him do

ENGLISH

I fractured my left wrist in a stupid accident.

So I got a chance to test the efficiency of China’s health care system.
X-ray, medical consultation and plaster cast in a very short time, for the “modest” sum of RMB 2.000.

Thanks to my friend Alex The Jaguar for the photograph and for the assistance.

La nuda verità – The naked truth

ENGLISH

The expo of 2010 left more consequences than Shanghai could imagine or afford.

The Pearl of the Orient is in a semi-comatose state so far from the splendor of the past.

Invert the course would still be possible, but before facing a problem you first need to admit its existence.

Il rosso preoccupato – The worried red

ENGLISH

A worried red to close this short but intense Tibetan experience.

My photography kicks and scratches, cries and screams.

I need a break to clear my mind and my images.
It’s time for Shanghai, waiting for the storm to pass.

Girotondo d’anime – Circle of souls

ENGLISH

A circle of souls without beginning or end.

A steady walk in a silent whisper that killed me with doubts and infinite sadness.

Bianco Lhasa – White Lhasa

Bianco ovunque.

ENGLISH

White everywhere. It’s hard to keep my eyes open.

I feel like a thief who takes what he should not have.
Even photography must have a limit. I’ve found mine in Lhasa.

I need time.
In this moment I haven’t the lucidity to think or to tell.

Quel treno per il Tibet – The train to Tibet

ENGLISH

It moves slowly through the clouds the train to Tibet.

The altitude gives me a sense of exhaustion that brings my memory back to the Argentina Andes with coca leaves under the tongue.

Here, in the absence of that, I must take care of my headache using the distributors of oxygen attached to the wall.

I fall asleep dreaming the ancient city of Lhasa.
When I woke up the dream is a pleasant reality.
