Fumo, confusione e voce roca – Smoke, confusion and hoarse voice

Fumo, confusione e voce roca.

Nessuna inibizione; nessun pensiero.
Solo opportunità da mettere in cornice.

Questa è una di quelle.

ENGLISH

I am still easy prey of a nightly and grainy photography.
Smoke, confusion and hoarse voice.

No inhibitions; no thoughts.
Only opportunities to put in a frame.

This is one of those.

Da Shinjuku Station passo e chiudo – From Shinjuku Station over and out

Back in Tokyo!
Di nuovo sparato nel 3000 dal treno proiettile.

Il futuro come lo vorrei. Come dovrebbe essere.
Ordine, tecnologia, tradizione ed irrefrenabile modernità.

Cazzo quanto mi piace!
Da Shinjuku Station passo e chiudo.

ENGLISH

Back in Tokyo!
Projected again in the 3000 by the bullet train.

The future as I would like it. As it should be.
Order, technology, tradition and unstoppable modernity.

Damn, I really love it!
From Shinjuku Station over and out.

The “normality” which is watched without being seen

ENGLISH

Sometimes we really should take a break.
Doing nothing and evading the urgent need to do anything.

Two hours and forty-five minutes in the train just looking at the landscape.

Music in my ears and eyes in search of that “normality” which is watched without being seen.

Un ricordo appannato di corde e luce rossa – A misty memory of ropes and red light

ENGLISH

A lethal mix of beer, Jagermeister, red bull and Campari, left me with a strong headache.

Three hours of sleep in a misty memory of ropes and red light.

After all also this is Japan.

ENGLISH

The action overlaps the thought.
A fraction of a second and a little luck.

Noh theater masks frozen into a movement not only of expression.
I jump from one face to another without finding a way out.

A way out that I don’t want to find.

Diffidate delle imitazioni – Beware of imitations

ENGLISH

The cherry trees are still in their winter dress, but patience is the virtue of the strong.

A persistent and thick rain “forced” me to organize a trip to Kobe.
And then – how Madda would say – once I was there…..

I can only confirm the words of my previous times: https://umbertostefanelli.com/photogeisha/?p=1837

An experience to do at least once in the life, but please beware of imitations.
Always more and always worse.

Simone, do you know what kind of relationship there is between the meat in the picture and that lousy and fake beef that somebody tried to give us in a famous and super trendy restaurant in Rome?

Isn’t falsification a criminal offense?
