L’indifferenza senza volto – The faceless indifference

Triangoli claustrofobici, dubbi adulti, comportamenti puerili, domande in bilico tra fotografia e medicina.

Marmo ed egoismo da sopravvivenza.

Un’indifferenza senza volto esercita l’abile arte dell’attesa, senza indietreggiare né inseguire.

ENGLISH

Claustrophobic triangles, adults’ doubts, childish behavior, questions hovering between photography and medicine.

Marble and survival selfishness.

A faceless indifference practices the skillful art of waiting, without chasing or running away.

ENGLISH

A million thoughts in the dystopic reality that I have in mind.

Too much movement for the calmness that I’d want. Too many misunderstandings.

Judgments due to superficial appearances.

A journey back in an old friendship. An ambiguous hypothesis a million thoughts long.

La chimera che abbiamo la presunzione di chiamare arte – The chimera that we have the presumption to call art

ENGLISH

Artists are always restless.
No matter the smile or the appearance. The unconditional love between father and son.

Every artist burns himself out. He doesn’t know another way to deal with his illusions, his fears and his problems without solutions.

This suffering brings to life the chimera that we have the presumption to call art.

Prima che cali il buio e non ci sarà più niente da guardare – Before darkness falls and there will be nothing to look at

ENGLISH

Who knows why, but I end up wondering about the purpose of existence.
Primordial philosophical matters, strawberry fields and quantum physics.

An insidious agreement between a bottle of Calvados Pays d’Auge and some Abba’s songs fire up my voyeuristic ambitions, before shoving me on the couch.

Look at me! Before darkness falls and there will be nothing to look at.

Il punto di partenza di chissà quale avventura – The starting point of some kind of adventure

Dormiveglia, stelle, strisce, chiaroscuro e sirene vanitose.

ENGLISH

Wakefulness, stars, stripes, chiaroscuro and vain mermaids.

Work in progress, refrigerators to fill and impossible escape plans.

A cocktail with a strong flavor that brings me back to the starting point of some kind of adventure.
